Band-X Online Services

 

For customers taking Band-X Switch Partition Managed Services, Band-X offers the ability to self-administer their own account.

 

Band-X’s customers can access their traffic information and manage their numbering anytime.  A single log-in gives Band-X’s customers access to a range of switch management services including CDR retrieval, number translations, number ranges database and traffic statements – all in a secure and easy-to-use environment.   Band-X Online Services allows customers to:

  • Take control – instantly re-route calls through on-line number translations.    Add, remove and modify target numbers with immediate effect.
  • Download CDRs on a daily basis.
  • View all current Band-X sub-allocated and Ofcom allocated number ranges associated to the customer’s partition.
  • View financial statements on outpayment values and call conveyance costs as produced by Band-X’s billing system (*)

Security of Band-X’s customers confidential data is paramount.  The moment customers have logged on, they are in a secure session. Customers access Band-X's Online Services through https and all transferred information is encrypted using the industry standard 128-bit Secure Socket Layer (SSL).  Each customer is allocated a unique user name and a password (which they can change to a more memorable one).  Multiple user names and passwords can be supplied on request.

For customers taking Band-X Switch Partition Managed Services, Band-X allows them to seamlessly link their systems to Band-X Number Management Service.

 

This allows Band-X’s customers to integrate Band-X’s Number Management Service with their own applications.    This service is based on SOAP / XML / HTTP industry standards.    It allows customers to perform the following actions directly from their own systems:

 

  • Create new number translations
  • Modify existing number translations
  • Remove translations
  • Check the status of existing translations
  • Confirm which number ranges are currently allocated / sub-allocated
